UI/UX Case Study: HIBOX App Revamp

The goal of this project was to revamp the HIBOX app from a simple e-commerce platform to a gamified, dark-themed mystery box experience. The redesign aimed to create a more engaging, high-energy environment similar to online staking and gambling-based applications in India, ensuring users experience excitement and anticipation while purchasing and opening mystery boxes.

The previous version of the HIBOX app had several UX and UI limitations: Lack of engagement: The interface was basic, failing to deliver an immersive experience. Complex navigation: Users found it difficult to explore, buy, and manage their mystery boxes. No gamification elements: There were no interactive elements to enhance excitement and drive user retention. Limited brand identity: The design lacked visual consistency and appeal.
